Mineral Sunscreen SPF25

The plastic-free mineral sunscreen by UpCircle provides an essential physical defence against premature ageing caused by the sun. This non-nano mineral based sunscreen contains no ingredients that are harmful to you or to the coral reefs.

Raspberries
UpCircle gives ingredients that would otherwise be discarded a second chance by adding them to their natural facial care products. UpCircle's sunscreen contains raspberry seed oil, made from raspberry seeds from the juicing industry, to protect and hydrate the delicate skin. Raspberries are high in antioxidants and vitamins A and E, which boost collagen production for plumper looking skin and protect the skin from environmental pollution by protecting against free radical damage.

Aloe vera, sunflower oil & lavender oil
Other natural and powerful ingredients used in this sunscreen are aloe vera, sunflower oil and lavender oil. The skin-soothing properties of aloe vera calms and moisturises the skin. The non-comedogenic sunflower oil and lavender oil fight against breakouts, making the sunscreen great for those with acne-prone skin.

Why SPF 25?
SPF 25 blocks 96% of all UVB rays. This means there is only a 1% difference between SPF 25 and SPF 30 and only a 2% difference between SPF 25 SPF 50 in terms of UV protection, as SPF 30 blocks 97% and SPF 50 98% of all UVB rays. The best way to protect your skin from the sun is to apply it regularly!

How to use
Apply the sunscreen to the skin. Massage into the skin until the cream is absorbed. Reapply regularly or after swimming, perspiring or drying off. This sun cream is suitable for all skin tones. The highest quality zinc oxide does not leave a white cast. Once applied, the lightweight formula absorbs within 15 minutes to create a natural finish with a subtle glow.

UpCircle's SPF25 is formulated as a day cream for the face, but can also be used on the rest of the body.

Use the UpCircle metal scoops to simply scoop the sunscreen out of the jar without having to use your fingers.

Packaging
This sunscreen comes in a glass jar with an aluminium lid. The packaging is fully recyclable. There is a plastic liner in the cap which makes the bottle leakproof and airtight. It also helps preserve the product longer and protect the lid from the essential oils. Essential oils can cause aluminium to oxidise (meaning it develops a black coating) which can spoil the product. At present, there is no suitable alternative. We recommend reusing the bottles as much as you can and if you do throw them away, recycle the plastic liner separately.
