The lavender soap of Werfzeep has a wonderful, deep scent of lavender. The fragrance comes entirely from ethereal lavendula angustifolia oil. This classic lavender grows naturally in dry, calcareous soil in southern Europe, and has more freshness than the sweeter cultivated lavandin.
This soap is made with nourishing argan oil. The lavender flowers that are stirred into the soap at the last minute come from Werfzeep’s soap herb garden.
'Lavender' comes from the Latin word 'lavare' which means 'to wash'. Lavender is deeply cleansing. It relieves pain, energises you, is antiseptic and supports skin recovery. It cleanses body and soul and, thanks to the high concentration of esters, has a very relaxing scent.
