Face Serum With Coffee Oil

  • By using this hydrating face serum from UpCircle with jojoba, sea buckthorn and rosehip oils, your face will be deeply nourished and brightened. The coffee oil used in this face serum is rich in vitamin C and antioxidants; it helps with any scars, pigmentation, or dark spots due to acne for instance. For plumper and more glowy skin, you can use this certified organic serum in the morning or at night every day. It is made with 100% natural ingredients, giving the product a delicious smell.

It is suitable for all skin types. You can also make it your hair and/or beard oil, it will moisturise your hair and protect your skin under it.

    Sea Buckthorn
Sea buckthorn oil, high in vitamin E, C and Omega 7 fatty acids, helps skin retain its elasticity and firmness. Naturally hydrating, this oil keeps skin moisturised, avoiding dryness and irritation.

    Rosehip Oil
Packed with Linoleic (omega-6) and Linolenic (omega-3) essential fatty acids and Vitamin A, rosehip oil promotes skin regeneration and healing. Rich in antioxidants, this oil helps minimise the signs of ageing such as wrinkles and dark spots.

    Raspberry Seed Oil
High in vitamin A, E and essential fatty acids, the raspberry seed oil is excellent for nourishing and protecting the skin. The linoleic and linolenic fatty acids moisturise whilst vitamin E helps the skin appear plumper and youthful.

    How to use
Drop the serum on your fingertips and massage it into the skin. In your beauty routine, it should come after the moisturiser (day cream or night cream). Indeed, it is 100% oil-based, meaning it will lock in the hydration provided by the moisturiser by forming a sort of shield over your skin.

    Beat the Microbead - Microplastics
UpCircle's face serum has the 'Look for the Zero - Zero Plastic Inside' logo from Beat the Microbead.

    Packaging
This face serum comes in a glass bottle with a PP cap, rubber bulb and glass pipette. Now you may be thinking: plastic? Though we are committed to selling plastic-free products, for some products we make a small exception. For your next order keep the cap with the pipette from your first bottle and select the refill option with aluminium cap.

There is a plastic liner in the cap which makes the bottle leakproof and airtight. It also helps to preserve the product longer and protect the lid from the essential oils in the serum. Essential oils can cause aluminium to oxidise (meaning it develops a black coating) which can spoil the product. At present, there is no suitable alternative. We recommend reusing the bottles as much as you can and if you do throw them away, recycle the plastic liner separately. The packaging is fully recyclable.

About the brand

UpCircle

In 2016, UpCircle siblings Will and Anna quit their jobs and risked it all to nurture and grow their by-product beauty baby. The circular economy sits at the heart of what UpCircle does. UpCircle hints at ‘upcycling’, the process of making something better from things that already exist. The UpCircle mission is to leave the world better than they found it by transforming ingredients that would otherwise be discarded into natural, organic beauty products.

Each product in UpCircle’s range sources and rescues by-products from other industries – the food and drink industry in particular. The UpCircle story started with the idea of giving used coffee grounds a new lease of life. UpCircle now also gives chai tea spices and fruit stones a new beginning. At UpCircle nothing is safe from being UpCircled! Food ingredients can have powerful effects on the body - inside and out – so there’s an opportunity to create beauty products from food ingredients that are being discarded yet still have much to offer our skin.

UpCircle uses only the finest plant-based ingredients, and never test on animals. The packaging across UpCircle’s range is 99% plastic-free and they offer plastic-free refill options for the 1%.
