Sea buckthorn oil comes from the seeds and flesh of the sea buckthorn berry. Sea buckthorn berries grow on the sea buckthorn, a large shrub with large spines. The oil of the sea buckthorn berry contains a high level of unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E and carotenoids. It improves the elasticity of the skin and ensures that the moisture content is maintained.

HelemaalShea is a small soap factory located in De Rijp, North Holland. It's a small business that makes natural soap, shampoo bars and zero-waste skin care products by hand. All of HelemaalShea's products are vegan and made with natural ingredients. The ingredients used and the final product have not been tested on animals.
The natural soaps are handmade according to the cold process method. This method involves the mixing of vegetable oils and butters with lye, which causes a chemical reaction called saponification. Nothing remains of the lye after the saponification process and the drying period of the soap. The saponification process produces natural glycerine, which is found in every piece of cold process soap. The end result: a beautiful piece of soap!
