BeeBee & Leaf Wraps are a plastic free, planet-friendly alternative to cling film, plastic bags and plastic containers. The vegan wraps are perfect for wrapping sandwiches, bread, fruit, vegetables, bowls of leftovers and for making pouches for nuts. The family pack contains five wraps in three different sizes with which you can pack everything in the kitchen.
A large wrap will cover a decent-sized bowl, or a large sandwich. A medium wrap is perfect for a small sandwich, or a bunch of herbs. Half an avocado or lemon can easily fit in a small wrap or use it to close a bottle of wine.
As well as being plastic-free and compostable, they are better at preserving many foods than plastic as they allow food to breathe. Without the build up of moisture in wrapped food there is less mould growth and food lasts longer so you waste less!
There are five vegan wraps in this pack in a mix of the prints Botanic and Pomegranate (The Tropical Collection) or Marrakesh. You will not always receive the same mix of designs. One of the ideas behind the family pack is to help BeeBee Wraps reduce their waste, therefore the mix of designs is switches around depending on the stock at BeeBee Wraps headquarters.
GOTS certification ensures that the toxic chemicals commonly used in textile processing are not used, and nor are any pollutants which can destroy our eco-systems or damage health. This means healthier farmers, workers, and a happier planet, plus safer wraps for you to use with your food. GOTS certification also ensures that there is no GMO used in growing the cotton.
The wraps are dyed with GOTS certified organic dyes.
Trace Your Wrap
From Bee to BeeBee - every single wrap that leaves BeeBee Wraps HQ has a batch number. This allows BeeBee to tell you the provenance story of each one. Keep your packaging and the batch number will tell you where the cotton was grown and when the wrap was made.
The packaging of BeeBee Wraps is plastic free and printed on recycled paper. So the paper has been through the system at least once before. Plus, originally, it was sourced from sustainable forests.
End of Life
At the end of their useful life, we recommend composting your wraps in an active compost heap or using them as a firelight on your wood-burning stove or BBQ! Old wax wraps are great for lighting your barbecue or campfire without the use of chemicals.
