The coffee face scrub from UpCircle is made with high-quality Arabica coffee grounds procured from artisan coffee shops across London. They allow you to say goodbye to dead cells in the gentlest manner and restore your skin's natural radiance. These natural face scrubs contain shea butter and coconut oil to moisturise and leave your skin feeling heavenly soft. Rosehip oil is also used; rich in essential fatty acids, including linoleic and linolenic acids, it is effective in properly hydrating the skin.

The face scrub is available in three different blends: Citrus, Herbal and Floral.

    Citrus Blend
The citrus blend coffee scrub is wonderful for dry skin. This scrub is formulated with rosehip oil, as well as different essential oils. Sweet orange oils: Extracted from the peel of the orange, it has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties that are perfect to calm irritation, reduce redness, and treat acne spots. Vibrantly aromatic, the fresh citrus oil also tones your skin. Lemon verbena essential oils: Citrus oils help to remove the skin’s excess sebum and keep it balanced. Jojoba oil: rich in important vitamins E and B, it hydrates your skin while preventing excess sebum buildup.

    Herbal Blend
This herbal blend coffee scrub is suitable for oily and combination skin. This scrub is developed with rosehip oil, as well as rosemary, thyme, petitgrain and tea tree essential oils. Rich in essential fatty acids, including linoleic and linolenic acids, rosehip oil is effective in properly hydrating the skin. Rosemary oil gently calms your skin and prevents breakouts thanks to its powerful antibacterial and antiseptic properties. Another excellent natural treatment for acne, thyme essential oil also has strong antibacterial and antimicrobial qualities.

    Floral Blend
The floral blend coffee scrub has a wonderful floral smell and is lovely for sensitive skin. It is formulated with rosehip oil, as well as chamomile, geranium and patchouli essential oils. About the brand

In 2016, UpCircle siblings Will and Anna quit their jobs and risked it all to nurture and grow their by-product beauty baby. The circular economy sits at the heart of what UpCircle does. UpCircle hints at ‘upcycling’, the process of making something better from things that already exist. The UpCircle mission is to leave the world better than they found it by transforming ingredients that would otherwise be discarded into natural, organic beauty products.

Each product in UpCircle’s range sources and rescues by-products from other industries – the food and drink industry in particular. The UpCircle story started with the idea of giving used coffee grounds a new lease of life. UpCircle now also gives chai tea spices and fruit stones a new beginning. At UpCircle nothing is safe from being UpCircled! Food ingredients can have powerful effects on the body - inside and out – so there’s an opportunity to create beauty products from food ingredients that are being discarded yet still have much to offer our skin.

UpCircle uses only the finest plant-based ingredients, and never test on animals. The packaging across UpCircle’s range is 99% plastic-free and they offer plastic-free refill options for the 1%.
