The Natural Barber Co. was founded by Joe Mallory-Skinner, who in his early 20s was living his rock 'n' roll dreams when he toured and performed in front of thousands of people. While performing he would often suffer from burning eyes and it turned out that because he was sweating, his hair wax was getting into his eyes and causing the burning sensation. A common problem when exercising.

Joe didn’t feel like trying out more different, complicated hair styling products and decided to develop his own. He made many prototypes in his kitchen and tested them with local barbers and friends. After a year and a half, Joe launched The Natural Barber Co. and this meant the end of his problem with itchy eyes.

The Natural Barber Co. products are sustainably produced in the UK, contain only natural ingredients and are not tested on animals.
