This classic razor from Bambaw is a nice alternative to plastic razor blades that need to be replaced regularly. Billions of plastic razor blades are thrown away every year. They cannot be recycled because the metal is embedded in the plastic. All this plastic is therefore burned or ends up in nature. With a safety razor, fortunately, only the easily recyclable blade needs to be replaced.
Metal safety razors were already widely used before the mass production of disposable razors. We have forgotten the traditional razor, but today a double-edged razor is still the best alternative for everyone. It gives a perfectly smooth result and on top of that it looks stylish and vintage!
Many razors these days have 5 blades. There is no need for this. In fact, multiple blades irritate the skin and can cause ingrown hairs. All you need is one razor-sharp blade to achieve that perfect shave.
Safety razors use a single stainless steel blade that is easily recyclable. How often the blades need to be replaced depends on the frequency of shaving and hair type, this can vary from a few weeks to months. Double-edged razor blades are economical and can be purchased in most supermarkets or online. We recommend that you replace the bamboo blades to use, which fit perfectly in the Bambaw safety razor.
The safety razor is made of high-quality metal that does not rust. The razor has stainless steel parts and a zinc alloy head to give it the perfect weight. So you don't have to worry about it rusting. The long ribbed handle provides a firm grip and is therefore very suitable for shaving the face and the rest of the body.
The safety razor is also available with holder.

In 2015 shocked the global scale of plastic pollution the twin brothers Max and Augustin. They wondered how they could produce as little waste as possible in their lives and how others could help do the same. They came to a simple conclusion: offer alternatives to polluting products to combat pollution at its source.
Bambaw's goal is to become completely CO2 neutral. To achieve this, they calculate the total environmental impact of their supply chain together with Carbon Trust. They calculate the entire journey of each product, from production to arrival at the customer. The shipping method, the length of the journey and the weight are carefully monitored to get a good picture of the emissions. Bambaw has chosen to compensate its impact on the climate by supporting an environmental project in Malawi.
Malawi is one of the poorest countries in the world where the majority of the population still uses biomass for cooking (e.g. wood, charcoal, dung or crop residues). Bambaw supports a climate project that efficient cooking stoves to the people. The cooking stoves help the population to reduce the consumption of biomass to half of the current consumption.
