Alum stone

Alum stones are often called 'the original aftershave' and were originally a staple in every barber's toolbox. The Mühle alum stone is made from natural potassium alum. Natural potassium alum stones have antiseptic and astringent properties. Applying a damp alum stone to your skin after shaving has an antiseptic effect, closing the pores of your skin and keeping it soft and supple. Use the stone to soothe your skin, combat razor burn, treat minor cuts and itchy mosquito bites.

Instructions for use
After shaving, wash your face thoroughly and make sure all the shaving cream or soap is rinsed off. Then, splash your face with cold water to help close the pores and allow the alum stone to glide easily over your face. Then, wet the alum stone itself and rub it over the areas of your skin that you have shaved.

To use the alum stone for minor cuts, first clean the skin thoroughly with cold water and remove any debris from the cut. Gently apply the stone to the cut for about 20 seconds or until the bleeding stops.

Allow your alum stone to dry thoroughly after use.

Deodorant
The Mühle alum stone is a natural, multifunctional product that can also be used as a deodorant. Potassium alum has natural antibacterial and disinfectant properties that reduce the growth of odor-causing bacteria. Wet the stone and rub it under your armpits.
