Conventional sunscreens contain chemicals such as Oxybenzone which are harmful to coral. These chemicals disrupt the coral’s reproduction and growth cycle, leading to coral bleaching. RoKai contains no toxic chemicals, no unnecessary fragrances, and no liquid polymers or microplastics that can harm your health or harm the environment!

Four Natural Ingredients

Organic Shea Butter
Soil Association Certified Organic Unrefined Shea Butter is not only an edible ingredient, it also has anti-inflammatory, anti-ageing and is highly moisturizing.

Organic coconut oil
Soil Association certified organic unrefined virgin coconut oil with a natural, though low, SPF.

Non-Nano Zinc Oxide
Widely recognized as the safest, broad-spectrum sunscreen available, RoKai contains uncoated, non-nano, pharmaceutical-grade zinc oxide, which also has a cooling, slightly astringent, antiseptic, antibacterial, and protective effect on the skin. This also makes RoKai a perfect after-sun.

Sustainable beeswax
RoKai uses a pure, sustainably produced unrefined beeswax. It is non-toxic, retains moisture, has excellent water-repellent properties and is naturally nourishing to the skin. In cosmetics, beeswax is an anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anti-allergenic and germicidal antioxidant, making it a perfect ingredient for sunscreen.

Instructions for use
Apply liberally before sun exposure and smooth out any natural clumping, works instantly. Reapply frequently, at least every 2-3 hours or after exposure to water or sweat. If it is cold and the cream is a bit firm, rub it vigorously between your warm fingertips to soften it or take some out of the tin and warm it between your hands.

RoKai may leave a white cast on the skin, this is due to the mineral non-nano zinc oxide that sits on the skin. Non-nano zinc oxide is the active ingredient that protects your skin from UVA and UVB rays. Non-nanoparticles sit on the skin as a physical barrier and are not absorbed into the skin and bloodstream - the safest form of an active ingredient for sunscreens.

Packaging
The lid of the recyclable aluminum can contains a plastic liner. The plastic liner ensures that the can is sealed better, so that the contents remain fresh for longer and do not leak. We recommend reusing the cans as much as possible. If you throw them away, remove the plastic liner from the lid and put it in the plastic waste.
