Eye cream with Hyaluronic Acid and Coffee

UpCircle Natural Eye Cream is a gentle cream to refresh and renew your eyes, reducing dark circles and fine lines and protecting the delicate skin around your eyes. The eye cream with a very subtle coffee scent is the perfect day cream or night cream for your eyes.

UpCircle gives 'waste' a second life by incorporating otherwise discarded ingredients into its natural facial care. UpCircle's eye cream is made from coffee oil extracted from coffee grounds, maple bark extract and cucumber extract.

Maple Bark Extract: Maple bark extract is a byproduct of the timber industry and comes from forests in southern Quebec, Canada. Bark is the protective “skin” of the tree. UpCircle repurposes it in the same way: to protect and nourish our skin. Maple extract is rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory, which means it reduces redness and makes skin appear brighter. It also strengthens the skin barrier and stimulates collagen production.

Cucumber extract:
The eye cream also contains cucumber extract which is considered a superfood for the skin. Cucumber slices are often placed over the eyes during facials as the ingredient is exceptionally gentle and therefore great to use on the delicate sensitive skin around the eyes! It is also an astringent, meaning it tightens and firms your skin to revitalise it and help reduce the signs of ageing. Cucumber extract contains proteins, lipids, vitamin C and a variety of minerals, meaning it deeply hydrates and leaves the skin feeling smooth. It is an ideal ingredient to help soothe and relieve puffy skin.

Coffee grounds with antioxidants:
Coffee is packed with skin-friendly friends, including antioxidants like vitamin E. High amounts of vitamin E and other essential nutrients in coffee help soothe and hydrate your skin. Caffeine is one of the most popular ingredients you can use to reduce puffiness and dark circles under your eyes. Its anti-inflammatory properties reduce swelling by constricting blood vessels under your eyes.

Instructions for use:
Take a small amount of cream on your fingertips and dab onto the delicate area around the eyes and allow the cream to penetrate the skin.

Use the cream both morning and evening. It is recommended to use the eye cream before applying a moisturizer. Suitable for all skin types and for use under make-up.

Packaging:
The natural eye cream comes in a glass jar with an aluminum lid. The packaging is fully recyclable. There is a plastic liner in the lid. This is to protect the aluminum lid from the essential oils in the eye cream. Essential oils can cause aluminum to oxidize (meaning it gets a black coating) which can spoil the product. There is currently no better alternative available. We recommend reusing the jars as much as possible. If you are throwing them away, remove the plastic liner from the lid and put it in the plastic waste.
