Fragrance sticks

The Very Good Candle Company fragrance sticks are handmade from plant-based ingredients in a small studio in Amsterdam. The rattan sticks absorb the scented liquid based on essential oils. The fragrance sticks are in beautiful recycled amber glass jars.

Instructions for use
Remove the cap and place the sticks in the bottle. Allow the sticks at least 24 hours to absorb the scented liquid. Turn the sticks weekly or as needed to enhance the scent. Use fewer sticks for a more subtle scent.

Do not place the bottle in direct sunlight or near other heat sources to prevent drying out.

NB!

1. The sticks are flammable, do not light the sticks and do not store them near a heat source.
2. It is harmful if the liquid is swallowed, do not consume and keep out of reach of children and pets.
3. Avoid skin and eye contact, may cause an allergic reaction. If skin irritation occurs, wash with soap and water.
4. If oil is spilled, clean it up immediately. Oils and resins can damage some finishes.

Scents
The owners of The Very Good Candle Company are inspired by the music they love and the places they have visited. The fragrance sticks are available in different scents: Pilton, Indio, Naeba, Asagiri and Stormur. These are the same scents as the candles of The Very Good Candle Company, but they express themselves slightly differently due to the different consistency of liquid versus wax.

Pilton
Inspired by the Glastonbury Festival in Pilton, England. Soft and woody sandalwood, musky amber, earthy cedar, a hint of cinnamon, some hidden spice and a touch of raspberry. Complex yet calming, Pilton takes you on a walk through the green fields of Somerset.

Indian
Inspired by the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio, California. Feel the warmth of the desert with scents of balsamic and clean pine, earthy patchouli, zesty blood orange and smoky birch.

• Base: Cedarwood, Birch

Naeba
Inspired by the magical Fuji Rock Festival in Japan, held on the slopes of Mount Naeba. Fresh citrus scents of Japanese Yuzu grapefruit, cool and clean tea trees, herbaceous sage and a hint of sensual sweetness from ylang-ylang. The scents of the Naeba candle make you feel like you are surrounded by the forests of Niigata.

Asagiri

Inspired by the Asagiri Jam Festival in Japan, held at the foot of Mount Fuji. The soothing scents of Asagiri feature earthy and lemony aromas of Hinoki wood, spicy and minty rosemary, soothing rosewood, sharp ginger, mild citrus mandarin and fresh basil.

Stormur
Inspired by the Iceland Airwaves Festival in Reykjavik, Iceland.With the unique and refreshing ocean scent of seaweed, earthy aromas of oak moss, minty and fresh eucalyptus and a hint of orange, Stormur will bring you a wonderful sea breeze.

Packaging
The liquid comes in a recyclable glass bottle with a recyclable aluminum cap. Inside the cap is a plastic liner. This is to protect the aluminum lid from the essential oils in the liquid. Essential oils can cause aluminum to oxidize (meaning it gets a black coating) which can spoil the product. There is currently no better alternative available. We recommend reusing the bottles as much as possible. If you are throwing them away, remove the plastic liner from the lid and put it in the plastic waste.
