  • The Very Good Candle Company reed diffusers are handmade from a plant-based and no-toxic diffuser base, essential oils and botanical fragrances in a small studio in Amsterdam. The diffuser comes in beautiful recycled amber glass bottles.

    How to use
Remove the lid and insert the rattan reeds into the bottle. Allow the reeds to absorb the fragrance oil blend for at least 24 hours. Flip the reeds weekly or as needed to refresh the scent. To create a subtle scent, insert fewer reeds.

Keep the diffuser away from direct sunlight or other heat sources to avoid drying out the reeds.

    Please note!
    1. The reeds are flammable, do not light them or store them near heat.
    2. The liquid is harmful when swallowed, do not consume and keep away from children and pets.
    3. Avoid skin and eye contact. May cause an allergic reaction. If skin irritation occurs, wash with soap and water.
    4. If the oil spills, clean up immediately, as the oils and resins can cause damage some finishes.

The owners of The Very Good Candle Company are inspired by the music festivals they’ve visited all around the world. The reed diffusers are available in different scents: Pilton, Indio, Naeba, Asagiri and Stormur. These are the same scents as The Very Good Candle Co. candles, but they smell slightly different due to the difference in consistency of liquid versus wax.

Inspired by the Glastonbury Festival, held in Pilton, England. Soft and woody sandalwood, musky amber, earthy cedar, a hint of cinnamon, some hidden spices and a touch of raspberry. Bold and complex, yet calming. Pilton will take you on a walk through the green fields of Somerset.

Inspired by the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, held in Indio, California. With its balsamic and clean fir needle, earthy patchouli, tangy blood orange and smoky birch, one whiff of Indio and you will feel the desert heat.

Inspired by the magical Fuji Rock Festival, held on the slopes of Mount Naeba, Japan. Inspired by the Iceland Airwaves Festival, held in various music venues in Reykjavik, unique and refreshing ocean smell of seaweed, earthy-mossy aromas of oakmoss, minty and fresh eucalyptus and a touch of orange, Stormur will bring the ocean breeze as soon as you open its lid.

There is a plastic liner inside the recyclable aluminium lid which makes the bottle leak proof and air tight. It also helps to preserve the product longer and protect the lid from the essential oils within the diffuser. Essential oils can cause aluminium to oxidise (meaning it develops a black coating) which can spoil the product. At present there is no suitable alternative. We recommend reusing the bottles as much as you can and if you do throw them away, recycle the plastic liner separately.
