Werfzeep's forest soap is an ode to the trees and the forest; to the Wickenburgh forest where Werfzeep gets so many of its ingredients and to the work of the conifer distiller Henk who makes hydrolate from Scots pine and silver fir for Werfzeep.
The forest soap combines the best of the Wickenburgh forest with Henk's hydrolates, it is a wonderfully earthy and fresh soap full of pine and spruce, with extracts of hazel, ash, blackberry leaf and ginkgo biloba.
Beat the Microbead - Microplastics: The Werfzeep forest soap has the 'Look for the Zero - Zero Plastic Inside' logo from Beat the Microbead.

Werfzeep
Werfzeep is an artisanal organic soap factory on the Westerkade in the heart of Utrecht. All Werfzeep soaps are plant-based and lovingly handmade. Werfzepen are wonderfully mild, caring shower soaps, full of nourishing oils and naturally occurring glycerine. What When it comes to Werfzeep, the power of a good, caring soap lies in its basis: the plant.
Werfzeep only works with organic ingredients with a good origin and does not add unnecessary substances. For the ingredients, Werfzeep works together with growers who share the same conviction and part of the plants are picked in the beloved Wickenburghse forest, near Utrecht. Here Werfzeep maintains their own soap herb garden and they harvest various ingredients that have been growing here for centuries.
Werfzeep never works with palm oil, animal fats or irritants such as perfume oil, dyes or foam improvers. Werfzeeps are biodegradable and of course not tested on animals.
